stargate comes of age 5 out of 5 stars.
this is one bloody good movie,i have watched the tv show from the beginning and this is as good as the original movie which started it all off.
as a fan of the tv show i give this a 5 out of 5 but if you are not a fan of the tv show this disc is still well worth a 4 out of 5 so go out and buy it

Great Film, but.... 4 out of 5 stars.
Its a great film to watch in HD, however on the Blu-Ray version there is one scene in the f16 that isnt even in HD, and is very noticable and my "UK content code" is just an empty white box on a piece of paper... No printers where it was made??

But besides that its a great end to Ba'al's storyline

Beyond terrible (critque of film not BD disc) 2 out of 5 stars.
The previous poster states that its better than the Ark of Truth.
I agree but lets be honest AOT should not be your standard to measure films.

This film is about as terrible as film as i can stand to watch, whilst i agree that its better than the previous it is by the slimmest of margins to render it almost negligible.

The only film i have enjoyed less this year has been x-files - i want to believe, which frankly should have been i want to die.

My biggest genuine complaint about this move is its outrageously low budget, im not saying effects are everything but i do think they compliment a film, especially the sci-fi genre.

Like the new xfiles film this just feels and plays like a mediocre extended episode of SG1, the only way you know its not SG1 is because richard dean anderson is so chubby! lol

Proving that the Stargate franchise still has legs 4 out of 5 stars.
Right on the heals of Stargate: The Ark of Truth, Stargate Continuum sees the SG-1 team return for its second outing on the direct to DVD format. Unlike Ark of Truth, which wrapped up the story ark of seasons 9 and 10 of Stargate SG-1, Continuum is a self contained movie, that marks the return of fans favourite Richard Dean Anderson and Don S Davis in his final Stargate appearance. While SG-1 attends the execution of Ba'al, the last of the Goa'uld System Lords, Teal'c and Vala inexplicably disappear into thin air. Carter, Daniel and Mitchell race back to a world where history has been changed: the Stargate program has been erased from the timeline.

The difference between the series and Continuum is noticeable from the start, showing what the production team at Stargate can do with a little freedom of an increase running time and budget. Compared to the typical episode, Continuum has a much broader scope, involving great panning shots in the artic, a much deeper tone in the shooting style and great visual effects.

Like with any production there are some criticisms, including the limited screen time of Richard Dean Anderson and the use of some stock footage from SG-1. However is more than easy to over look these thanks an excellent musical score and great acting from the cast, indicating that they still enjoy playing these characters after 10 years.

All in all, Continuum is as enjoyable, as it is significant for the fans as a sign of things to comes, proving that the franchise still has legs and a long way to go.

Alot Better Than Ark Of Truth! 5 out of 5 stars.
