What World are some people Living on? 5 out of 5 stars.
I bought this, because i like the film and it was the extended edition, which i find far more satisfying than the theatrical edition. If it had been the theatrical edition i wouldn't have touched it.

The main principle of blu ray is better picture, better sound, which is achieved here.

If you only buy films for extras Stick with the DVD,

but if like me you just love the film ,then this is top notch.

for people to say the picture is no better than an upscaled DVD is a joke, I watched the DVD version and the picture is shocking, one of the worst DVD transfers I think I've seen, its only because I bought a bigger TV that i've come to notice these things otherwise I probably would've agreed it is no better. The sound is superb, but then again it always has been, Its a brilliantly sound designed film. and with the DVD offering a choice of sound options it is pretty hard to top.

The blu ray picture is impressive, its not perfect, but i don't think i've seen any film thats older than say 5 years that is. it is the best i've seen this film look by a long shot.

The sound is just amazing thats all i can say, it truly is ear orgasm material, it is an improvment over the DVD , alot cleaner and more thump to it. my only complaint is there isn't a 6.1 or 7.1 channel.

As for Extras, is i previously stated, i bought this because of the film, i've seen enough making of's special effect specials, script comparisons etc over time. i don't think there is anything that hasn't been said already, and is there much left unsaid? i very much Doubt it.

Looks fantastic on blu-ray 5 out of 5 stars.

Terminator 2 looks fantastic on Blu-ray. The picture quality is excellence. I watched it on a

Avoid at all costs!! 1 out of 5 stars.
If you have the standard def T2, you have this. Also, if you have the standard def T2, you will have special features, which this doesn't.
It is a total con, try and avoid these Optimum Blu Ray releases, I bought this and Total Recall and they do not seem to be any different from the standard def editions, apart from the fact that the special features are gone and now you get zip.
I seem to be reading the same reviews every time for these Optimum releases, avoid!

Why No Extras!!! 1 out of 5 stars.
Enough has been said about the movie already cant fault that
Picture quality is a little better than upscaled DVD
Sound is good but not better than the DVD
Menus are cheap looking, presentation is poor for such publicised movie at its time of release.

Why no extras, I remember watch the making of T2 just after it was released, I cant believe that they could not include that 25 minute documentary on the bluray. Watch it on you tube insead
Poor Effort, we expect more.
No more remastered stuff for me

WARNING! NO ENGLISH SUBS! 1 out of 5 stars.
My rating is not for the movie (which is 5/5) but for this particular release. It's a disgrace to put out a release of a movie of this caliber without either english subs or extras. People living in Scandinavia are good at english, but still want the english subs so as not to miss subtleties or slang. And what about people who are hard of hearing??
It's not like there isn't enough space on the disc or a lack of readily available subs from previous releases!

This release should be avoided like the plague! Don't let Optimum make money with stunts like this!
